Jim Puckett is Executive Director of the Basel Action Network, an organization focused on confronting global environmental issues related to electronic waste and other aspects and impacts of the “toxic trade.” Puckett has worked as an environmental health and justice activist for more than 22 years, previously serving as Greenpeace International's Toxics Director. He was co-coordinator of Greenpeace's Toxic Trade campaign, which was instrumental in achieving the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal.
