Shrinking Attendance at Gartner Conference Disappointing

At a time when organizations need to find ways to reduce cost, it’s a little disappointing to see that the attendance for the annual Gartner IT Financial, Procurement & Asset Management Summit is shrinking, along with the number of vendors on the trade show floor.

This year's conference is addressing financial concerns and providing individuals with the tools necessary to champion improvement opportunities throughout their organizations.

Those that are in attendance are not wasting time at the hotel pool.  Instead they are filling rooms to capacity and beyond to hear speakers such as Patricia Adams, Gartner Research Director, discuss the latest trends, tools and best practices in the ITAM industry.

As for me, I am taking every opportunity I can to understand the challenges that our customers are facing, so that we can continue to develop solutions that address these growing concerns.
