Making the G.R.A.D.E.

The IT asset disposition business today is highly fragmented and immature, with no generally accepted standards and few barriers to entry. And because the service smacks of being "green," the industry is awash in an entrepreneurial froth, leaving small electronics recyclers in almost every town of any size.

Companies seeking to engage a service provider for IT asset disposal are faced with doing expensive due diligence—which few do—or placing their bets on the vendor with a likely story. Recognizing that a privacy or environmental mishap can cost millions, International Data Corp. (IDC) has developed the industry's first vendor certification program designed to help large businesses choose wisely, and you guessed it: Redemtech is on their very short list.

The IDC G.R.A.D.E (Green Recycling and Asset Disposal for the Enterprise) certification WILL mature the industry by helping customers evaluate and choose service providers from among capable competitors. The program will improve customer value by ensuring that we vendors compete based on innovative solutions, service and reliability. And it will help new competitors develop credible capabilities by setting a minimum bar.

The people at Redemtech are passionate about producing great results, and we work hard at continually improving the value and sustainability of our offering. IDC and David Daoud are to be commended for taking a leadership role that will help the industry move in a very constructive direction.

Congratulations to us.
